Specifications
Nominal sizes for framing and sashes as follows:
- Jambs 72mm x 56mm
- Head & Cills 72mm x 67mm
- Mullions & Transoms 72mm x 66mm
- Sash Stiles and Rails 70mm x 50mm
- Cills are rebated to receive an internal cillboard.
- Top/side hung casements fitted with friction hinges, shoot bolt and espagnolette locks with locking handles which are available in silver, brass, black or white.
Maximum sash sizes:
- Top Hung Sash 1140 x 1129
- Overall frame size 1200 x 1200
- Side Hung Sash 540 x 1229
- Overall frame size 600 x 1300
Glazing:
- Ground floor laminated 6.4mm with a 16mm argon filled cavity and 4mm LowE toughened, clear or obscure
- Trickle vents to windows as requested
Where frames are to be divided vertically by mullions this is normally in equal proportions.
